Lipika provides an online service for converting Unicode Odia text into Akruti- or Sreelipi-compatible encoded text, and back.

The service is intended for users including DTP operators, printing presses, publishers, and other users who require Unicode-to-Akruti text conversion.

Certain features require an account.

You are responsible for providing accurate information when creating your account and for maintaining the security of your account.

Authentication may be performed using email-based verification.

You must not use another person's account without authorization.

You agree to use Lipika only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or another user's account
• Circumvent security or authentication mechanisms
• Abuse or intentionally overload the service
• Attempt to interfere with the normal operation of the service
• Use automated methods to abuse conversion, token, authentication, or payment systems
• Attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, or compromise server-side systems
• Use the service for unlawful activities

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or infrastructure.

Lipika provides Unicode ↔ Akruti (Odia) and Unicode ↔ Sreelipi (Odia) conversion.

Although we aim to provide accurate and reliable conversion, conversion output may vary depending on the input text, characters, fonts, encoding characteristics, and other technical factors.

Users are responsible for reviewing converted text before using it in production, publication, printing, or other consequential work.

Lipika does not store users' conversion text.

Text submitted for conversion is processed to provide the requested conversion and is not retained as stored user content.

Lipika may provide trial usage and/or paid token-based usage depending on the applicable offering.

Token balances and usage are maintained by the service.

Where a paid token package is purchased, the purchased tokens are intended for use within the Lipika service according to the applicable package terms displayed at the time of purchase.

Monthly and yearly subscription plans, where offered, provide unlimited conversion usage during the applicable active subscription period, subject to reasonable service protections, rate limits, and the Acceptable Use requirements of these Terms.

Payments are processed through Razorpay.

The amount payable for a purchase is the amount displayed by Lipika at checkout after applicable pricing, quantity adjustments, discounts, and promotional codes.

Lipika is not responsible for failures caused solely by a payment provider, banking network, UPI system, card network, or other third-party payment infrastructure.

Once a payment has been successfully completed, the purchase cannot be cancelled and the amount paid is non-refundable, except where a refund is required under applicable law.

Users should review the selected plan, quantity, promotional code, and final payable amount before completing payment.

Promotional codes may be subject to eligibility requirements, validity periods, usage limits, plan restrictions, and other conditions displayed by Lipika.

Lipika reserves the right to reject invalid, expired, misused, or unauthorized promotional codes.

We aim to keep Lipika available and reliable, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

The service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, infrastructure issues, network failures, security incidents, third-party service failures, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

The Lipika name, branding, website design, original content, and service implementation are owned by or used by the service provider to operate Lipika, except for third-party materials and technologies.

You may use the service for its intended purpose but may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit Lipika's proprietary website content or branding without permission.

Lipika may depend on third-party services including payment processing, email delivery, hosting, database infrastructure, and other technical services.

Third-party services may have their own terms and policies.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lipika and its service provider shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages arising from use of or inability to use the service.

Users are responsible for reviewing conversion output before relying on it for printing, publishing, or other production work.

We may suspend or terminate access to an account where reasonably necessary due to abuse, fraud, security concerns, violation of these Terms, unlawful activity, or other circumstances requiring protection of the service or its users.

Account deletion is permanent. Any remaining paid tokens, active monthly or yearly plans, and other account entitlements associated with the deleted account are permanently lost and cannot be transferred to another account or converted into a refund.

Lipika may modify, improve, add, or remove features from the service when reasonably necessary.

We may also update pricing, plans, token packages, or promotional offers. Changes will generally apply to future purchases unless otherwise required by law.

Your use of Lipika is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts having jurisdiction over Bhadrak, Odisha, India, subject to applicable law.
