Table of Contents
Lipika is an online Unicode ↔ legacy-font converter built for DTP operators, printing presses, publishers, designers, and anyone who works with Odia text. It supports Odia Akruti and Odia Sreelipi, in both directions.
Paste your Unicode or legacy-encoded text, convert it instantly, and use the result in your existing workflow.
Lipika performs the conversion on the server, so the conversion engine does not run inside your browser.

Using Lipika is simple:
- 1Create an account or sign in.
- 2Open the converter.
- 3Choose one of the conversion options shown.
- 4Paste or type your text.
- 5Click Convert.
- 6Copy the resulting text or instantly download it to your device with just one click.

3Converting Text
Lipika supports two conversions, each available in both directions: Odia Unicode ↔ Akruti and Odia Unicode ↔ Sreelipi.
In the converter, choose one of the four conversion options shown. Pick the conversion you need, paste your text, and select Convert.
Lipika processes the submitted text and returns the corresponding output for the direction you selected.
You can then copy the output and use it in your existing DTP, printing, or publishing workflow.
Example: Unicode Odia → Akruti
ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଲିପି
Try this in the converterConverting uses tokens from your free trial first, then from any paid token balance you have.
Different fonts, characters, formatting, and source text can affect how converted text appears in downstream applications.
4Special Character Fix
Lipika includes a special-character fixing option for specific known Windows glyph/character issues.
This option applies to Odia Unicode → Akruti conversion. When enabled, Lipika applies only the specific corrections supported by the converter, and does not intentionally alter unrelated characters.
Odia Sreelipi conversions detect and handle their equivalent special-character variants automatically in both directions, so there is no separate toggle for them.
If you notice an unexpected conversion result, verify the input text and try the conversion again with the fixing option disabled.
5Usage and Tokens
Lipika may provide trial usage and paid token-based usage depending on the account and purchase.
Trial usage is intended to let new users try the service.
Paid token balances are used when applicable.

Monthly and yearly plans provide unlimited conversion usage during the active plan period, subject to reasonable service protections and rate limits.
